Misericordia

The music was originally written by Strassberger as an instrumental work for strings and piano, but he thought the emotional gravity of the piece was better suited for voice. While reading an excerpt from William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice," Strassberger realized it fit the music perfectly--not only in meter, but most importantly in intention.
